I am working on a PhD in work life history at Mälardalen University, Västerås. The thesis deals with the post war era in one of Swedens biggest companies during ”The Golden era” of the 1950s and 60s, The Grängesberg Company. My main interest is to study the development of an advanced occupational health and safety apparatus in the mines in Grängesberg. My dissertation will take place in spring 2017.

I have written a book about Sala silver mine and Sätra brunn in the 1700s. Its called 1700. Handbok i historisk verklighetsflykt. Its about people, there social life, clothing and food during the 18th century. The book came out in 2007 and can be ordered directly by me or from Sala silver mine: www.salasilvergruva.se.

In 2012 I wrote a chapter in a anthology for student in economics together with one of my supervisors, prof. Peter Dobers. Our chapter is about Swedish mining interests in Liberia during the 1950s and 60s. The book is called Företagsekonomin och samhället and our chapter is called ”Företags sociala ansvar: CSR som täckmantel för kapitalistisk exploatering?”. The book can be ordered here: https://www.adlibris.com/se/bok/foretagsekonomin-och-samhallet-9789144093505

During the autumn 2016 I am involved in another anthology that deals with the dark history of Bergslagen. I will write a chapter about the work environment in Sweden´s biggest weapon company, Bofors, during the period 1939-1980. The book will be published in 2017.

On my spare time I am writing on a biography of the Swedish architect Sven Ahlbom and a novel about a typical Swedish family and its journey from poor peasants to rich, middle class people in the period between 1919 and 1981.
